During spring break while we were doing our semester in Spain in 1988, myself and my roommate Keith, and a third person named Jeff Hoeks, whose dad was a Calvin religion professor - we flew to London for a week and explored the city, including of course Big Ben and the Thames River (pronounced Tems) and some museums etc and even took the train all the way out to the famous Canterbury Cathedral I still have a picture of it !
